University United Methodist Women Scholarship Fund

University United Methodist Women for many years have offered camp scholarships for the youth of our church. The Organization has also offered scholarship for women of the church to attend Kansas East Conference School of Mission each July.

We have expanded our outreach and are offering scholarship to any member or friend active in University United Methodist Church who might wish to attend an educational seminar which would enrich their faith and work within UUMC.

United Methodist Women will pay 50% of the attendance fee up to $200 for each individual. An individual may receive scholarship only once in a calendar year. UMW will make final determination whether scholarship will be granted.

Application forms are in the Church office. Thank you to all the church for supporting UMW in making our fund raising so successful over the years.

Ladies Night Out is May 8th @ 6 pm. A catered meal will be served ,  $7.50 per person (cost of the meal from caterer). Reservations must to be made by April 25th by calling Linda Reece @ 272-1997 or Carol Hoffman @ 272-0214. Persons will re responsible for the cost of meals reserved even if unable to attend as UMW will be covering the cost of the meals for our guests presenting the program and our servers (Men’s Ministry). Those not making reservations cannot be guarenteed a meal. All women of the UUMC are invited to this special night out. Program will be “Opray Land Quartet”.
